Helping one of my friends get sober and functionable again thanks a lot!

My name is Eric Johnson, and I have been sober for 9 months now. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the transformative experience I've had at Fenix Recovery . After losing my husband of ten years and my mother to cancer, I found myself spiraling into a deep pit of grief and substance abuse, developing a fentanyl and meth problem that led to losing my job and home. It was during this dark period that I entered the Fenix program, and I can honestly say it has changed my life. Under the guidance of my therapist, Megan, I have engaged in grief and loss therapy, which has helped me process my pain in a healthy way. The incorporation of EMDR therapy has been particularly impactful, allowing me to confront and heal from traumas that had been holding me back. The group therapy sessions have created a supportive environment where I’ve connected with others who understand my struggles, making it feel like a small, tight-knit family rather than just a treatment facility. What sets Fenix apart from larger rehabs is the boutique style of care it offers. The individual attention I received made all the difference in my recovery. I’ve found a sense of community here that I didn’t expect, and it has been incredibly healing. Thanks to the support I’ve received, I’m now working on finishing my social work degree and have found a renewed faith in God. The staff at Fenix make this place an exceptional treatment center. As an addict who has participated in the south Florida shuffle and experienced many treatment centers, none compare to this place. Other places you may find a handful of staff member who’s truly care about recovery. At Fenix, EVERY staff member is invested in the clients and each one consistently seeks out their best interests.
